Excellent versatile tri fuel generator

I bought this generator and plumbed it into the natural gas as a backup means, but have used it repeatedly during a basement remodel project. It has operated above expectations. It easily handled the load of two deep freezers, two refrigerators, and some household lights. Combined with the interlock switch at the fuse panel, I don't need any extension cords, just single cord to the outside outlet. I would recommend this generator to anyone.

Started right up after initial setup. Came with key FOB which was unexpected.
Came with hoses for LP & Natural Gas. Have run on both Gas & LP.

Better than expected!

Very well built generator. I purchased the WGEN9500TFc in August of 2023; although I haven't had to use it so far,i'm prepared if need be. I live in New Orleans, La. and we go through some type of tropical storm or hurricane yearly. I feel confident that this generator will be able to be my backup power if needed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAVE NOT USED IT YET BUT I AM HOPEFUL AFTER READING REVIEWS. ONLY ISSUE I SEE RIGHT NOW IS THAT THE FRAME IS WARPED OR PUT TOGETHER INCORRECTLY. THE HANDLE TO PULL IT WILL NOT CLOSE DOWN COMPLETELY. IT HITS THE DOWN BAR ON THE FRAME. ALSO, OTHER PARTS DO NOT ALIGN AS THEY SHOULD. HOPEFULY THAT WILL NOT AFFECT THE OPERATION OF IT. I GAVE IT 4 STARS JUST BECAUSE I HAVE NOT USED IT YET BUT I AM DISAPOINTED WITH THE CROOKED FRAME.

Peace of mind

Bought this so we would have heat and could keep food from spoiling in the event of a winter storm.
I used the natural gas option and the generator quickly started right up. My house was already set up for an expensive whole-home generator, but we saved thousands of dollars by going this route instead. We haven't tried the home AC, but this generator has been able to power everything else.

Great features and quick start up.

I have only just purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500 generator. The install of the legs and wheels were simple and initial start up right out of the box was quick and easy. There was enough charge in the battery to actual start the unit with the push button. The test run was smooth and not as loud as some other generators that I have been around. I have an electrician coming to my home tomorrow to install a transfer switch. My home is 100% electric; heat and well water and we tend to have power outages often. Wind and rain take down tree branches and leave us not only in the dark but no heat or AC and without water. I will no longer have to stress the loss of my food in our freezer or be inconvenienced without water, heat or cooling. Thank you Westinghouse.
