Easy to use

The generator was delivered a little less than a month ago . Setup was easy and start was also easy. So far I’m very impressed with its performance. I would recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing one.

Excellent home generator!

Although I haven't tried this generator out in an actual power outage, I am quite impressed on what I have seen so far. The first thing that impressed me was how well it was packaged for shipment with all parts and accessories complete. I also liked how the manual was so informative, well written, with easy to understand illustrations. The first thing I tried was a heavy duty power drill; which didn't phase it. Then I tried the well pump, and you couldn't hardly tell when it kicked on. The last thing I tried was the whole house, of which I couldn't tell the difference between being on the generator or being on the main electrical service.The only advice that I would give the user would be to use premium non-ethanol gasoline treated with a fuel stabilizer. All in all, a very good generator, and highly recommended.

Great features and quick start up.

I have only just purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500 generator. The install of the legs and wheels were simple and initial start up right out of the box was quick and easy. There was enough charge in the battery to actual start the unit with the push button. The test run was smooth and not as loud as some other generators that I have been around. I have an electrician coming to my home tomorrow to install a transfer switch. My home is 100% electric; heat and well water and we tend to have power outages often. Wind and rain take down tree branches and leave us not only in the dark but no heat or AC and without water. I will no longer have to stress the loss of my food in our freezer or be inconvenienced without water, heat or cooling. Thank you Westinghouse.

Tri-fuel option

I bought this generator last month due to its ability to operate with 3 different options for fuel. You don't typically find a generator is this price range that operates on Natural Gas in addition to Gas and Propane.

Easy start up, solid item

We just purchased this generator and were pleased at the easy setup and startup. Solid item but also a nice size that isn't too bulky. Instructions were clear and assembled and running in 30 minutes.

Well packaged. Super easy assembly. It only took about 10 minutes. Solid construction. Everything was present. Should be a good fit for my construction/home power backup needs.

I purchased this generator a few days ago and am very happy with my purchase. The Westinghouse name has been a staple in my home for years. The generator is beautiful and started right up. The manual is easy to read and understand. I am looking forward to many years of use.
