Great generator if u have hurricanes

In Houston you need a generator. Our 14 year old one died, and Beryl took out all the electricity. We got this one, and wow, it is so much nicer and lighter. Shipping to TSC was quick, and it arrived in perfect shape.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No more lost wedding cakes

Lost the top layer of our wedding cake to Beryl after being out of power for a week. Finally took the plunge and got a generator. With a new interlock installed, looking forward to being lit up like Christmas this hurricane season.

Fits my needs perfectly

I bought this to provide power to my whole house, replacing a small inverter generator that I was using to power up a small window A/C unit and a few small appliances. My home is set up for natural gas so getting a tri-fuel model was high on my list. After researching various brands, I settled on the Westinghouse 9500TFc as it is the only generator in this size that provides a 50A plug. I also like the fact that it can be remote started and weighs only about 200 lbs. The large wheels and foldable handle make it easy to move around with only one person. I have yet to actually use it beyond the initial break-in period. The only small annoyance is the user manual which leaves a lot to be desired. Fortunately for me, there are plenty of how-to videos online.

Great Home Backup Option

Bought this as a whole home backup. Got the Tri-Fuel so that I will hook it up to the house natural gas line. I will purchase a 100lb propane tank as another option to run the generatot.
Set up was easy. The only additional thing I needed to do was put the Carbon canistor back in place because it wasn't secured on the brackets due to shipping most likely. It came with the Natural gas and propane hoses which is a great bonus. I love that it has a remote start and a battery charger to have the battery ready when I need to run it.
Get yourself a Westinghouse generator if you need one. You won't regret it

We just went through six days without power from Hurricane Beryl. We had to stay at daughter's house as they have a generator. We told ourselves that we'll get one. After thorough research, we settled on Westinghouse 9500 TriFuel for multiple fuel options. We just received it and we'll get it through the break-in. We had a power inlet box installed. We still have a small tank of propane gas. Next would be to get a plumber to install a natural gas connection.
