Had been considering a portable generator for whole home backup since the 2021 freeze and finally decided it was time after this year’s derecho. Not two months later it was put to use after a hurricane. I was pleased with its performance once I figured out the fuel selector knob was stripped (still waiting on a replacement). Thankfully a monkey wrench did the trick. Overall no regrets, except maybe I should have gone with the 11500.

Great generator, lots of features.

Bought it a few weeks ago. Started right up. Trickle charger for battery is nice too. Natural gas option is the best for me.
