Great generator

Bought this generator for emergency backup power being that its portable it is just as good or better than any Honda I've ever had. Write out the box the voltage and Hertz was right on the money under load. Really easy to use for my wife with remote start

Good choice for a portable generator

Easy to assemble. Considering the weight, it moves around nicely with the wheels. Tested it with propane. It took two or three times to start initially, but as soon as the air was purged from the system, it fired right up. This model has enough power to energize our whole house - minus the central air. When we tested it, there was no flickering, nor noticeable change in service in the house. We will be ready the next time we have a power outage. It's not the quietest, but it's not the noisiest out there either. That will not matter when the grid goes down.

Cannot recommend

I bought this tri-fuel generator because if purportedly runs on natural gas. Unfortunately, I cannot get mine to run on natural gas. It runs fine on propane, however. I called Westinghouse and they have not been helpful on this matter. For this reason I cannot recommend the generator and give it a one-star rating. Some further comments: 1. I could not find the key fob at first. I called Westinghouse and they told me that the key fob comes attached to the pull cord, and there it was. 2. The generator holds one liter of oi but comes empty. Upon receiving the generator I filled it up using the provided oil. The generator would not start. I called Westinghouse and they said the generator will not start of the oil is filled more than half way. There is nothing in the manual about this. I emptied half the oil and it started and ran fine on propane (but not natural gas). 3. The generator is very loud. 4. Westinghouse sends a free generator cover if you register your product and leave a review. I did this, received a confirmation email, but did not receive the cover. I contacted Westinghouse and they told me to register my generator. I told them I already had, but they ignored me and told me again to register my product. So this is my second registration and product review. I hope they send me the generation cover after two registrations and two product reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
