Generator was very easy to install and simple to operate.
Started right up and ran my lights and air conditioning.
I am so relieved to know I have a back up in the case of losing electricity.

All the bells and whistles

I bought this after Hurricane Ida. I am a female and needed something easy to use. Plan on getting a transfer switch to connect directly to house.

I purchase this unit for a small home stand by generator utilizing the propane feature, fed into a manual transfer switch. This is my 6th generator I’ve ever purchased, but my first Westinghouse unit. I am VERY impressed by every part of this generator, so much in fact, I bought another one 5 days later, that one an Igen2200 digital inverter for use in my truck when on the road.
The 9500DF runs smooth, and starts very easily, the remote key fob start is a HUGE bonus up here in the Northeast, when you can point fob out through window, start generator, and just flip the transfer switch breakers to “ generator” during an outage. This generator is quiet enough to keep close, and purrs never skipping a beat, or sputtering. The GFCI, and the onboard meter system are a huge plus!. I will be looking forward to many years of service, and I’m going to rate the other IGEN2200 next!

Runs on Propane

Just purchased because it is dual fuel running on propane which is much easier for long term storage than gasoline.
