Ready Out of the Box

Turned on right out of box. We needed a reliable generator to power medical equipment that was affordable. We were able to power an entire 4 bedroom home off this generator.

I like the fuel efficiency and the remote start. And it’s not too loud. Now that I’ve run it through the break-in period, I plan to test it at full capacity.

Best bang for your buck

Haven't put it to extended use yet, but I have ran my whole house (including AC and electric water heater) for a solid 30 minute test. Dual fuel will is a great feature.

Fantastic generator

I finally got an electrican to hook this up for me today. I was very impressed that when I pushed the start button that after a very brief pause it started on the first try. The electrician checked the voltage from inside the breaker box and it was what it was supposed to be. My wife even turned the dryer on while we were testing and it kept right on going while TV's, lights, internet, a window AC, ceiling fans, 3 refrigerators, a freezer and I'm not sure what else was running. I was very impressed. I'm very glad that we have this backup for the next time we lose power.

I hesitate to leave a review after only owning something for a few days because the thing could break tomorrow. That said, so far this generator is impressive. I've fired it up a couple times and put some small loads on it and it didn't miss a beat. It runs smooth and my 21 gallon 120 volt 20 amp air compressor did not make this thing bog down when it kicked in and started running. I love the dual fuel option but haven't tried the propane yet. Easy to assemble and quick to get up and running. Sound is equivalent to others in this class and I thought was acceptable. Not too heavy and fairly easy to move around. The only issue, and it may not really be one, is the rated THC of less than 23%. I assume the 23% is the max running at capacity and if only pulling 5k watts this may be much lower. How much? I wish I knew. But there are ways to to accommodate this when plugging in sensitive electronics. All in all I definitely recommend this generator. Time will tell how long it will last, but so far so good.

Working well

I have this connected as a whole house backup generator using the 50 amp connector. So far everything works except the dryer. May have to see if the legs need to be balanced. Setup and installation went well and both fuels started easily.
