Great features

I bought this generator in May to be prepared for Hurricane season. Little did I know at that time how much this machine would mean to me and my family. On August 29th we were in the path of cat 4 hurricane IDA. What a storm she was. Howling winds and pounding rain and a tree on our home at 11:30PM and no electricity. At 3AM, after the worst part of the storm passed I used the remote start feature and presto, we had electric. Gasoline was almost impossible to find but with plenty of propane we were able to get by most comfortably with window units for A/C. I would recommend this WGEN 9500DF to all my friends.

Purchased in preparation for Hurricane Ida. It took 10 minutes to set it up and have it running. It's more than enough to power our ~2100 sq ft home with central A/C. We evacuated for the storm and luckily we had power restored when we returned; however, I'm kind of excited for the next power outage...

Very easy setup and operation. Remote start is a plus. Have already tested this generator and it supplies enough power to run the entire house and AC. Runs about as quiet as a generator can get. Very pleased with this product and from a company that stands behind their product!

Delivery was on time. Super easy to assemble: Install the wheels, front legs, put a little gasoline, turned the gas tank shut off valve to the "ON" position, connected the battery, filled the motor with 10-30 engine oil that came with it. We plan to us the GEN. as a backup power and storage it long term with little to no use: Thus we put very little fuel in the tank to avoid having to siphon it out and not leave gas inside the tank to rot during its long term storage period. As a result it did not start at first, due to the small amount of fuel in the tank. We also realized the Gen was sitting on a very slight slope, causing the small amount of gas to gravitate away from the shut off valve which is the intake for the Carb. - so Fuel was not reaching the carb./Engine. Once we turned the Gen. around sloping it the other way, this allowed the small amount of fuel to reach the shut off valve, , it fired right up. Put a load on it, performed like a champ. Switched to Propane and same thing, ran perfect. No complaints here. This looks to me to be a quality made unit and the 50AMP outlet is just what we needed.
