Won't start out of the box

Assembled as per directions added gas and it won't start.. turns over with electric and with the pull cord but doesn't fire..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The features that come with this generator are awesome you have dual fuel capacity automatic start and on top of that you have a remote start you just totally awesome

Excellent Quality - Great Value

I bought Westinghouse's WGen9500FD generator as the primary power source to maintain charge for a block of batteries in an off-grid application and it works perfectly. The unit started-up right out of the box and has operated flawlessly. The remote key-fob feature works great allowing me to start and stop the unit from inside the cabin and the generator is quieter than I expected it to be. The oil fill and drain locations are easily accessible and result in no mess. The user's manual is very well written and provides clear, concise instructions. I highly recommend this generator!

Dependable?

I purchased a Westinghouse WGEN9500DF (via Amazon) a few months ago. Initially, it worked fine, the remote fob was a real plus (using it to power my 5th wheel, I didn't need to shut it down outside, at the generator). The problem arose when I simply moved the generator. I shut it down, relocated it, then...NO PUSHBUTTON START..NO REMOTE/FOB START (only started via recoil/pullcord).
Yes...battery fine. No failure codes indicated.
So, since I need this generator, I'll be troubleshooting electronics myself (as generator will shutdown via fob but will not start).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Operation

Purchased this ahead of possible hurricanes. Easy to set up, and easy to operate. Instructions are clear. Dual fuel is a great feature to have. Plenty of outlets.

HORRIBLE User Manual, The product might be okay

The user manual looks like it was written entirely by a lawyer who has never seen let alone used a generator.The English language portion is 31 pages long and at least 85% "NOTICE" "DANGER" "CAUTION" or "WARNING" etc Additionally, it mentions things that it never tells you how to use or even where it's located like the "Eco Mode Switch." Also, it has a dial selector for the type of fuel that makes it look like you can "mix" the type of fuels but it never states whether this is possible or why they have a selector like this (maybe that's the Eco Mode Switch, nothing indicates that). As I indicated, this may be a decent product. I just finished using it for 5 days and it performed well enough but I don't really have any idea if I got the best out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brand New Generator fail
