I bought this generator after losing power for days after any storm that comes through or area. The 9500DFc will power up all the necessary home infrastructure required. Nice features and solid design with remote start makes this generator a dependable unit.

Good price and powerful generator

I did many search and compare various brands of generator such as : Westinghouse, Firman, Champion, Cummins. Finally, I picked WESTINGHOUSE. This brand offer good price with high performance. Outlets are made sturdy, furthermore it is built with many features. The noise of level is acceptable (~75db) at 20feet away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No More Power Outages!

I bought this in late July, and opted, since it was transfer switch ready, to install it, so I purchased a 15FT 50 Amp Generator Extension Cord and Power Inlet Box Combo Kit with Locking Connector, and the generator interlock device. Yesterday, I received the generator and today it is running. It powers everything in the house, including two A/C units!!!

This is my second generator and I'm getting older so I thought that by having a push start it would make it easer to get it going. I also love that I can use 2 types of fuel. This is one of the assets to my house. Cant wait to use it. Although it is a little heavy to move, I'm planing on making a place close to my connection to the house so I can maintain it dry and not have to move it.

Fully satisfied - much better than our previous gen in quality (& possibly reliability, TBD later), + has the remote electric start & dual-fuel availability. Thoroughly pleased.

Just saved us from the power outage after Debby

Decent generator, it was powering our house for around 6 hours and burned about 2/3 of the propane tank.
Two caveats - it is a bit too noisy, and the power input was a bit uneven, so the APC UPS was constantly reporting distorted voltage and switched back to battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!
