Best features for the money

I live in Florida and it's hurricane season, so I decided to have the house set up for power outages. I like the dual fuel feature since we have propane on site, and as soon as I got it home, I hooked it up to 20g bottle and it fired right up with the remote start. It is loud, so I imagine I'll need to do something to address that issue. I'm also planning on tying it into our 250 gallon home propane tank in the near future. I'm not a fan of storing gasoline or fighting for it when a storm is headed our way.

So Far So Good!

I purchased this item in June and fired it up on July 4th with no issues. The real test will come tomorrow when the electrician installs the 50 amp transfer switch.

Best generator I’ve ever owned.

I bought this generator a month ago, right before a hurricane hit south Texas where I live. It worked flawlessly and ran my house without a hitch. Evan ran my central AC. I’m actually so impressed with it that I just ordered a Westinghouse iGen2500 as a backup.

Excellent generator

I bought this generator 2 days before Hurricane Beryl hit Houston, Texas and left us without power for over 5 days. This generator was a life saver powering my whole house thru this outage. I highly recommend having a transfer switch installed along with this to make it much easier to use. Excellent investment especially for the Gulf Coast of Texas.

Don't trust your life or your family to this item

I bought this item Saturday July 6th 2024. I got it and did a break in period on Sunday. Hurricane Beryl came in on on Monday July 8th. The generator worked just fine for the first 4 hours. Then I heard a shift in the sound of the generator and I lost the power to the 2 fans and refrigerator I had running off of it. The generator still runs, it doesn't give any electrical power though. It will occasionally com back and let some power through for 5 or 10 minutes. When it loses power the LED screen goes black and it trips the GFCI outlets. I have tried to get support from the website. I have heard nothing from them in over a week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT GENERATOR AND EASY TO USE

I purchased a Westinghouse 9500 Dual Fuel Generator and love it. The instruction manual made it very easy to set up. This generator has a lot of nice features including a remote start that I can use from inside the house. I am using propane for the fuel and it starts immediately and runs smoothly.
