Great product

I bought this generator to run my whole home when power goes out. It is exactly what I needed and it runs my whole home with ease. Just a great product to have as a backup power source.

Impressed with Features/Quality

I've lost power for an extended time during each of the last several years. So this was my year to buy a generator.
After comparing numerous brands, I chose the Westinghouse because of its quality and features. And I'm glad I did; I'm really impressed since receiving mine. There are the two options for fuel, several options for power output (20A,30A,50A) and my favorite - options for starting: Manual pull-start, Electric start from the front panel and Remote-Start using a key-fob. Being able to start the generator from inside the house is pretty sweet.
Since my purchase was late in the season, I've not put a lot of runtime on it. But the noise-level is acceptable and the performance is good.
It's important to me that the fuel tank is solid metal. That was rather hard to find. I guess the only real negative is that the propane connection is at the front and points forward, leaving the hose to stick straight out from the front of the unit.
The manual is rather detailed. You can download/view it on the Westinghouse website. Did I mention I've been impressed?

Best affordable generator

This generator is probly the best value you can get for what it offers. High output, great features like dual fuel, electric and remote start great runtime a small footprint and affordable cost. you really can’t beat it. So happy to be prepared for hurricane season this year.

Great Generator

I'm getting a bit too old to pull start a generator and after researching various generators I selected this one because of its power, features, and electric start. It was really easy to assembly and started up on my first try with the FOB. I let it run for 15 or so minutes and it purred like a kitten. Everything works great. I am really happy with this upgrade. It's a great value for the price.

Every feature I need in a backup generator!

We suffered a tremendous ice storm in early February, and our power was out for 11 days. Had a hard time and used two smaller generators to keep our food supply safe. Immediately ordered this one, as it will also power our heating system, and comes highly recommended. Having it plumbed into our LPG system for continuous use if needed in the future.
