Good Instructions

I recently bought this generator and found it easy to assemble, load in oil and start for the first time. Instructions are easy to follow and associated tagging on the unit helped. The generator is also easy to move on flat or somewhat rough surfaces. I had to move mine through a gravel area and it was fairly easy.
Since this is a new purchase, I have yet to test it in a power outage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good portable home generator

So far so good,, I've ran it with a 20lb propane tank but with no large load... a shop fan and a compressor. Hooked it up to my house with a Generlink 50A provided by the utility company, mounted behind my meter, saves purchasing a transfer switch, the Generlink is a transfer switch. Ran it on gasoline yesterday, individually it ran my 50 gal water heater, well pump, and my central AC unit, it is a smaller unit, home is only 1200 sq ft on a slab. Would not run my electric furnace, when the elements went to kick on it pulled the gen down too much. All the lights in my home worked fine, no flickering, even gave the TV, Sony sound bar, and my PS3 a shot, I was a little worried because of the high THD, no issues, I didn't try the electronics with the AC or any other large loads running. I still need to try running it on a 100lb propane tank that I purchased, not sure if it'll run the AC or not, It's only on a 30A circuit so it should, love the remote start option and the weight isn't terrible, I rolled it 100yds on a gravel driveway and probably won't load it in my truck by hand, I'll rig something in the roof of my shop to hoist it.

Picked this up a week ago. Very fast and easy to get up and running. Starts very easy with the push of a button and runs smooth. I'm ready for the next Derecho!
