Dual Fuel Monster!

We live in a rural area with a well and wanted to make sure that no matter the weather we would have enough power to run the entire 2500 sq. ft. home when the power went out. Received the unit a couple of days ago and was very easy to put together. I will not be using gasoline as I don't want to store something so volatile on the property so I will be running this entirely on Propane. Kicked right over on first attempt and runs the whole house! Build quality appears very good and documentation is very thorough. Not concerned now if the power goes out. BTW, the remote start is very nice to have!

Power when the grid goes down

I purchased the WGen9500DF for home power backup. Was delivered into my garage in perfect shape. Easy to assemble. My only comment is the assembly instructions said you had to connect the battery cables. My unit came with a simple plug you had to connect. Put in oil and gas and it fired right up through the electric start. Would highly recommend!!

Purchased this after the 2021 Texas Winter Storm. Even though we may never go 5-6 days without power again, our neighborhood is subject to multiple power outages a year (ONCOR says it a weak crossarm, yet it fails 5-6 times per year-yeah right!). Anyway the wife wanted something that could power the whole house when we lose power during those blistering Texas summers (have to have AC). This will do the trick. Plus we now work from home and should be able to power our Over-The-Air TVs and possible internet. I did a ton of research and this beast more than fits our needs. Dual fuel, I have 30+ gallons of fuel I constantly rotate into the vehicles, and can it use propane if we get desperate, gotta love it. Great price, great brand!!!

Great Features

Unit came a week ago via shipping company, one small dent but luckily the manual took most of the brunt, hopefully they can send me a new one. In no time I was up and running on propane...if I'm lucky no gas will ever go into it. There are simply too many great features on this unit! The best...battery and remote....now I feel confident that my wife can get things up and running when needed....goona build a nice little mice proof building for in to blend into the landscape and we are good to go...Thanks Westinghouse!
