This generator is exactly what we were looking for! We lost power for 4 days after Beryl and we had to borrow someone's generator. We knew we wanted something with more power so we got this one. We are ready for the next storm!

Hoping this will meet our needs - for when PG& E decides to start rolling black out. Looks to be well thought out. Beware that total combined total output of 40 amps, even tho it has a 50 amp hook up- you're still only going to get 40 amps out of it.

Just received the generator and appears really well built. My last generator was 5000W so this one is quite a bit larger. I liked the electric start/FOB remote start features. Will be breaking it in later this week and trying both fuel sources

We purchased this 2 days after Beryl hit the Houston area - it arrived quick and will allow us to be better prepared should another storm, or bad weather, come through our area.

I bought this item Saturday July 6th 2024. I got it and did a break in period on Sunday. Hurricane Beryl came in on on Monday July 8th. The generator worked just fine for the first 4 hours. Then I heard a shift in the sound of the generator and I lost the power to the 2 fans and refrigerator I had running off of it. The generator still runs, it doesn't give any electrical power though. It will occasionally com back and let some power through for 5 or 10 minutes. When it loses power the LED screen goes black and it trips the GFCI outlets. I have tried to get support from the website. I have heard nothing from them in over a week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
