I bought this a month ago and I’m so happy that I did because we seem to lose power a lot the winter and my old generator was not cutting it. This generator has plenty of power and outlet choices. The versatility of the dual fuel is a bonus as well as the remote start. I like using the propane option so I don’t have to worry about gasoline contamination. I highly recommend this product.

Easy setup, plenty of power

Out of box experience was easy. Cut the box down the corners, and tip the unit onto its side, on the cardboard. Bolt on feet (wrench included in box) and install one wheel with a cotter pin. Roll unit onto the other side and install the other wheel. Tip upright and fill the oil with the funnel, both included. Connect the battery wire, then thread on the included propane hose/valve. Connect your tank, open its valve, set the unit to propane, then hit start. I connected the 50A outlet to our transfer switch, and can run all the 120v stuff in our house, no problem. Hopefully, having this set up will insure us from any further outages.

Fantastic for peace of mind

I didn't have to use this for a few months. When I did, I was so thrilled. My house lost power and it started right up and kept running for hours before needing refueling. It powered all of the circuits we needed to keep us warm and safe until power was restored a few days later. The remote start feature is cool and the generator itself gives you the option of using it for a 220V circuit or 120V.

Simple and well-built generator

I purchased a Westinghouse generator after Hurricane Sandy. I didn't have a generator at that time. We lost electricity for almost one week. Thank God, our neighbor had a generator and sent us two electrical extension cords so we could run our essential appliances. Our Westinghouse generator started up every time we needed it. It is a workhorse.
I purchased this generator to have another one that also runs on propane. I've recently set it up, and I can tell that it is another reliable generator. It starts right up and has many nice features. It is a blessing to have, since we have 7 grandchildren and several are babies, so we have peace of mind that we can generate heat in the winter, just in case. Thank God our Father and thank you Westinghouse!!!

Starts right up!

We bought this generator because of the reviews. We had a transfer switch installed, gassed up generator, plugged it in and it started right up! This gives me peace of mind that if my husband isn't home, I can take care of the house with this product!
