Easy set up!

The generater started up right away after the set up. Oil change was easy to do, also. Looking forward to using it during storm outages.

Great for Newbies, Easy to Set Up and Get Running

We have yet to try it during a hurricane, but this unit was recommended by several people who have and they say it powers their house without any trouble. We intend to use it in that way and to power a small camper during power outages.
First, it's easy to set up. Just follow the instructions and you'll be up and running in no time. We are using propane mostly and don't really intend to use gasoline unless we have to. Once the oil is in (don't overfill) and you set it for propane, and go through the startup procedures, starting and running it is a breeze.
Time will tell on reliability but again people who have this tell us it should work out. We feel much more prepared now that we have alternate power during the aftermath of storms. Our hurricane preparedness just went way up!

Worked fine for six months and then died.

Worked fine for six months and then died. I thought thought it was a bad battery but charging the battery made no difference. The battery indicator will light up slowly but the Push-Button START/STOP will not come on and the engine will not start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this one is the best one for me and the size will run my home.knowing i will put two window A/C in and leave the Central AC off and not worry about using the 220 dryer either
