Unbelievable value

Picked this up a couple weeks ago in anticipation of our normal winter weather related power outages and issues. We had a 4500 rated unit from another brand but the constant fueling, cord switching, and juggling of what could and couldn't be powered just wasn't worth the hassle unless things got really bad for an extended period of time. Had my electrician wire up a Transfer switch and setup for this 9500. Assembly was super easy, 15 mins tops... Although a lot heavier than I thought it would be. Fired up on the first request and ran smoothly. Connecting to the transfer switch 50amp was a breeze and it powers literally everything in our 2500sq ft house except for the heat pumps. Couldn't be happier

Exactly what we needed

Our 18-year old generator no longer runs, and this new generator, with the latest technology (dual fuel) and updated features (electric and remote start) is exactly what we needed as a replacement. Now we don't have to worry if the weather knocks out or power, since we have a reliable, easy to use, and powerful new generator.

Well Built Generator

I just got this generator, after losing power multiple times over the past few years. I wanted something that could run any appliance in the house plus a few extra items, and could also run on propane. Unpackaging and setup was very easy. The fold down handle bar is perfect for easy storage and towing. And overall, the generator seems well built (coming from an engineer). It did require about 1.5L of oil to fill, not 1.1L as stated in the manual. After filling with oil, I connected the battery, connected the propane, pushed the electric start button...and it cranked up perfectly on the first try. No issues! I'm very pleased with the purchase so far.

Wanted to try it before we needed it, but didn’t want to leave unused gas in it for a long time if not needed in the near future. Added oil,checked battery, (was fully charged), and hooked up a propane tank. Turned battery switch on, set choke and pressed start. Fired right up and ran smoothly. Let it run for a few minutes with no load and shut it off. Next tried recoil start. Started first pull. Would have given five stars if it had been tested under load. I am more than satisfied!

Reasonably priced for the features. Very easy to assemble. Everything is provided, tools, oil, funnel. Better sound level than the competition. Battery charger included. Easy to maneuver, easy to use. I love it...
