High Quality Generator

I bought this Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator as an upgrade to a 4400 watt generator that I have had for a few years. I wanted one that could power the majority of my home and this is just the powerhouse to do it! The dual fuel feature is a must in my opinion. You never know which type of fuel may be more readily available in the aftermath of a storm. The fuel source can be switched from one to the other on the fly which is very nice. This generator is extremely heavy duty and very well built. The remote start is also a very nice feature. I would absolutely recommend this generator to anyone looking for some serious power from a high quality unit. Get it, you will not be disappointed.

Great unit with neat features

Replaced a 20 year old Generac 10000. The features on the new generator are outstanding. Dual fuel is a real bonus. No carburetor worries when using propane. Fuel guage. Data read out for hours used AND service reminder. Quiet and powerful....

Fuel efficient Generator

Plan to use this to power my home during an Ice Storm when the main power goes out for a few hours/days. Use it to power my welder.

Just bought this 9500, it fired right up with the key fob, tied it into my whole house transfer switch, it works great. its actually quieter then I thought it would be.

Easy Assembly

I was impressed with the quality. Wish it was a little bit quieter, but all or most of the bigger generators are noisy. It seems to be very sturdy and well built. I was impressed with the quality bearings on the wheels. I like the electric remote starter and the user manual is well written with clear and easy to follow instructions. Just unpacked it tonight, put it together and started it up. So, I can't predict how it will perform yet, but if the sturdiness and quality parts are any indication, it should perform well. One complaint: the gas gauge doesn't appear to be very accurate.

Remote Start for this Elder Gentleman

I'm way past my pull start years and have upgraded my generator to this powerful model. This model gives this senior citizen comfort and security knowing it will power my house at the push of a button. Even from my couch with the remote fob!

Easy to start, not to bad to move.

I bought this generator after the pounding Hurricane Sally gave us. It's a bit heavy and loud, but super easy to start. All I was looking for was was power and reliability. This generator seems to fit the bill.
