Excellent features

I bought this generator shortly after hurricane Dorian. I was without power for 14 hours. Moving to South Carolina two years ago, I never expected to lose power. Living on the coast a generator becomes a necessity. This generator is a power house. The duel fuel features was one of the important features for me. Knowing that gas stations might not be able to pump gas during a power outage, the propane feature solves this problem. The ability to switch from gasoline to propane on the fly is a big plus. I haven't had to use the generator yet but I know it will perform as expected. I also plan to have an electrician install a transfer switch to avoid using extension cords and utilizing the 50amp outlet. Westinghouse is a name you can trust.

OK, it's only one day old, but I can tell you this, it started on first push of the Start button. It was purchased solely as a standby generator when PG&E makes good on their threat to cut off power. I chose this unit because it seemed to have all the features of competitive machines and it has the longest warranty in the field.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To power house and camper when needed

Easy set up, its heavy but wheel and stand installation well documented. Added oil and gas and it started first push of the start button. I didn't even charge the battery, it is load but what do you expect, this isn't a dedicated home unit.

This generator seems very well made. The assembly was easy, and the directions were clear (except for showing the handle used to lift and move the generator, which is great, but I didn’t see it at the beginning). It started right up on propane. Have not yet tried gas. Loved the electric start. Not sure about the value of the remote start for my use case, but I may change my mind in actual use. Outlets look solid, and there is a good range of configurations available. I would give it 5 stars if It were quieter. It is probably quieter than most in its class, but still noisy. Overall recommended,
