Came well packaged, easy to setup and easy instructions. Seems well built and sturdy. Fired right up and now we are ready for any power outages.

Solid Generator

I bought this to have just in case after experiencing 11 days without power after hurricane Helene. Setup was rather straight-forward, and it test-ran on propane just fine. I don’t plan to hook it into my house, so I bought adapters to run regular outlets for the 240 connectors. It should keep my backup heaters and fridge running continuously if needed, with a few lights and phone/laptop chargers too.

Great Features and Plenty of Power

I bought this generator last month just in time for an extreme high wind event that took out our power. It did great powering up our 2900 sqft house. It’s replacing an 18 year old Westinghouse generator and I really like the new upgraded features.

I’ve had many generators over the years so when shopping for a new one I read many reviews and the generator that always came on top was the Westinghouse WGen9500DF, Not a brand that entered my mind at first , but being in my 60s I remember the Brand Westinghouse as a leader on all electric, so I purchased, for the all the features it has the price was extremely good. I received on Feb 12 2025 read the manual, pushed the start button and to my relief it “ purred like a kitten” runs steady and great to power my whole house through my transfer switch . If your looking for a well built, user friendly, and reliable generator I highly recommend this generator
