Especially like the special features remote

Having the option of gas or propane provides flexibility, remote or electric start is also helpful, the runtime should be adequate for any weather related down time.

Great Features

I finally feel like I am protected in case our power goes out again. We live in the country so when we lose power we not only have no electricity, we have no water or toilets. I am excited that this generator will work on either gas or propane, that makes it very easy to get a fuel and store fuel for longer periods of time without it going stale. I did a lot of research and this gets very good reviews so I expect to have a good experience with it. I has good instructions that seem very clear.

I bought this for power outages due to fires and earthquakes in California. Very happy with Westinghouse DF9500 and would recommend this generator. Intend to purchase transfer switch to hook up to my home electrical panel.

Love the fact that it's dual powered - will use propane more, I'm sure. Like that it has remote start as well as manual. Haven't used it yet, but need to be prepared, as we live in SW Florida

Looks great and works well

Bought this last June and got it earlier than promised and in perfect condition! Had my electric guys hook it up to my house panel with an Interlock ( Permits pulled) to my 2300 sqft home. My AC is 3.5 ton and this pulled it on Gasoline with no problem, even when switched to Propane!! Switched on HVAC Handler and lights in house and 0 problems. Ran a 50amp receptacle through the wall and hooked the 50amp cable to the generator 50amp outlet. Ran this for 1/2 hour on both and am impressed with the electric start (battery included and charged) and remote key fob start!! (Fob came programmed too!) Even comes with a trickle charger for the battery. SW Florida (Port Charlotte) hurricanes and storms come through almost every year so, we are ready! This machines hums along like a quiet lawnmower as well. Told some friends and family members about it :)

Small and tight footprint

I purchased this 9500 because of the small footprint. Didn't need some large generator taking up 4 feet of my garage space. This Generator takes up a small area.. Quite pleased with the size and the power of the unit..

I bought the Westinghouse WGen9500DF Generator a month ago and it powered everything in our house: AC, lights, hot water heater, refrigerator, etc. Very pleased with this product.

I live in California in the foothills where PGE shuts off power during drought conditions and high winds. This generator is so easy to use has so much power and can run on gas or LP. I run my well pump which gives me water and I can flush the toilet which is better than having to flush with buckets of water. Remote start is awesome I can start it in any room of my house. The price rocks and the noise is not too bad.
