Best Whole Home Backup Generator for the price

I bought this a week ago and I am so pleased with it so far. I received it earlier than expected, the box was not damaged in any way and everything was in order. All the paperwork was included manuals and all were easy to read with easy to follow instructions. The process of installing the wheels and the feet was easier than I expected and was done with it in just a few minutes with minimal effort and tools. I am ashamed to say that I almost cannot wait for a power outage to put it to the big test. I am confident with what I have seen and experienced that this is absolutely the best choice for the price. Thank You Westinghouse for a great product that meets and exceeds expectations.

This generator has some great features. The remote start seems like over kill but it is still cool. After filling the unit with the oil that came with it and connecting the battery which also came with the gen - a nice touch. We hooked up a 15 gallon propane bottle. Pressed the remote start and the gen tried to start. It automatically tried to start 2 times. It started on the 2nd try. The noise level was way less than we expected. My lawn mower is much louder. Another nice touch is the four 120VAC plugs are GFI. All of the outlets have a rubber cover. This is way more important than you might think. These should keep bugs and the weather out of these plugs.

Excellent Generator!!

I bought this generator on Monday and it was delivered to my house on Friday. I unpacked it and found no damage at all and it was very easy to install the wheels and feet to the frame. I hooked up the gas line and propane a pushed the start button and it started after 1 try !! I will be ready for the hurricanes this year and many years to come. This a quality built unit at a very reasonable price.

I have researched a number of generators in the last year and decided to purchase the Wgen9500DF, for several major reasons. Powerful unit, runs on gasoline and LPG gas, affordable, sturdy, nice design, great features, 3 year manufacturer warranty. Came well packaged and no damages. It was very easy to install the never flat wheels and stand. I am already loving this product and very happy with this unit and believe it is the right choice for my needs. I can't await to see it in action, in the next power outage or storm event.

Huge bang for the buck!

I bought this in September of 2020. Everyone that I know with a generator offered the same advice on what to buy...get as big as you can afford and the more outlet options the better. This one really shines in all of those. We have used it twice since we got it. It ran all night on a tank of gas and it ran 2 space heaters, multiple lights, TV/Satellite, and fridge without a whimper! The only negative I can think of is that it does make some noise. But the sound of no power is deafening. Another big plus is the dual fuel option. You never know when gas may not be available and your propane grill may save the day!

Purchase this item for this upcoming hurricane season, always have to stay prepared in Texas! Honestly I couldn’t have made a better purchase! Delivery was fast and they were able to place it in my garage. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

Easy assembly, started right up on unleaded. Bought as a backup home generator, ran for 2 hours no load and no issues so far. Seems like great quality.
I would suggest running for 4-5 hours under load and then changing the oil to a higher quality full synthetic motor oil. I may be paranoid, but I don't trust the generic conventional oil that was sent with it.
