Wouldn't carry full load out of the box

I liked how easy it was to get the generator turned on and running - it was a great touch to have that first quart of oil included in the shipment. Unfortunately, it couldn't sustain 2 1500W heaters (one plugged in to each of the two outlet boxes). Presumably that will be because of my altitude (~6000 feet). We'll see how good Westinghouse is at warranty coverage!

The Best of the Best !!

After reviewing portable generators for months, we chose WGen9500DF and we're extremely pleased. It was very well packaged; no damage. We checked the Fedex delivery truck, which was stocked with portable generators. All but one generator was Westinghouse. It comes with everything you need to get it up and running.The wheels are large, and the generator is well made. It starts up without hesitation. I am a 72 year old female, and I can move & pivot it EASILY. We recommend this with confidence.

I bought this to run my whole house. It’s a very good quility generator and is very easy to use... the remote feature works from any room in the house . Highly recommend

Wgen9500DF Review

After much research I purchased the When9500DF. Dual fuel is very important where I’ll use propane as the primary fuel source and gasoline as the secondary if need be. There were no delivery issues and all advertised accessories (wheels, stands, funnel, oil, etc) were included. Instructions are easy to read and easy.to understand. After initial preparations for wheels and stands installation, battery prep, engine oil and propane hose connection, the generator started up on the first try. Wow! Very cool. I will be connecting the Wgen9500DF via a 50 amp cable to a manual transfer switch to run important appliances during power outages. The generator will be enclosed in a noise enclosure to lessen noise and keep good relations with my neighbors. Although I haven’t put the Wgen9500DF through a full suite of tests, I’m confident it’ll pass with flying colors. And when you add on.Westinghouse customer service it’s a win win.

LIFESAVER

I bought this generator & it is absolutely amazing. This generator saved my life during a major blackout. I was able to keep my refrigerator going, freezer, TV's the house warm while we waited for power days after. I like the gas feature better because it gives you more wattage than the propane but I do like the 2 ways that you can power this bad boy.
