I purchased this generator after much studying generators. I felt this was the best unit for the money. I haven't had to use it yet. I like the 3 year warranty that comes with it plus I purchased 2 extra years of extended warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently purchased the Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment 12,500 Peak Watt Generator, and while I haven't had the chance to use it yet, I’m already impressed with its features and overall build quality.
Powerful Specs: With 12,500 peak watts and 9,500 running watts, this generator promises to handle any power needs, from home backup during an outage to outdoor events or job sites. The specs are impressive, and I’m confident it will perform well when I need it.
Easy Start: The electric push-button start is a great feature, making it incredibly convenient to get up and running quickly. This is a huge upgrade from the traditional pull-start models I’ve used before.t is a heavy generator, but easily manageable once the wheels are mounted. I didn’t find the noise level to be any different than other generators of this size or wattage. They did a very good job with the owners manual. I liked that there are instructions on how to unbond the neutral for applications such as connecting to your power inlet. I also liked the confirmation that recreation fuel or ethanol free gas, is perfectly acceptable if available. I completed the break-in process and tested the generator connection to my house. Very happy with my purchase so far

I've only ran it for the 5 hour breakin period but i'm very happy with it. Westinghouse has redesigned a couple of problems people had with this model so it shows they actually care. They redesigned the run/stop switch to be more reliable and moved the 50amp receptacle away from the wheel so the cable doesn't interfere with it any more. The user manual is very detailed which is much appreciated.

Heavy Duty Generator

Just got this shipped today. Unboxed it. Wheels are easy. Insert screws for feet from the bottom pointing up if you want to save time. Will start it up shortly. Only minor scratches on the frame bars. Other than that, seems to be in good shape cosmetically.

I bought this GEN, tree years ago and not had to use in an emergency yet. Sitting here in Florida just west of Daytona 9OCT24 waiting for Hurricane Milton to hit. Hope I will not have to use the GENERATOR. But if I do. I have tested on the reg. and runs just fine except, for the RPM is not steady. It's a slight drop in RPM. I've tried it with and without a (light} load. It is the same.
I run non-ethanol fuel only. I haven't tried propane as of yet. But I do like the GEN. It cranks up every time I test run it. It some what quit. And I like having a remote. I wish more details. But maybe after the hurricane.
