Great generator

I just bought this because my power keeps going out and now I don't have to worry about it. I just walk out, turn it on, push a button and I have power again. Best choice I have made in a long time. Easy to put together also, even a 65 year old could to it by herself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ease of Use

It was out of the box and operational in about one hour. Since we are using an interlock kit for the panel, I spent more time identifying the breakers than setting up the generator. It fired up the second time and was a lot quieter than I thought it would be. When I used the remote key, I knew my days of pulling a cord 50 times were over. As a side note and for ease of starting load, we added a "soft start" to our A/C. This generator runs the house and garage. We do turn off a couple of unused breakers. Stats: Single story 2,800 sqft and 800 sqft. Gets a big thumbs up from us.

I bought this after Hurricane Beryl rolled through the Houston area and my old off-brand generator kept giving me trouble even though I had maintained it. Planning to run this one only on propane unless I absolutely have to use gasoline. The shipping pallet served as a useful stand when mounting the wheels and support legs. Fired right up when hooked to a propane tank. I feel much more confident this will be ready and able the next time I need a generator (which seems to be getting more often).

Westinghouse Has Earned A Big Thumps Up

I am a disabled U.S. Army veteran who recently endured loss of power due to a hurricane that hit Texas in July and I made a promise that we would not have to endure having to endore having no power and AC if the power ever goes out again.
So I started looking at verious portable generators and came upon the Westinghouse WGEN9500DF and after viewing YOUTUBE videos of people who own the WGEN9500DF I made the investment in a WGEN9500DF of my own and it was a great move on my part and I really love the remote and push button start.
I would recommend the WGEN9500DF to anyone in need of a portable generotor to power their home in an emergency or to use for every day use.

Really Nice Generator

I am really happy I purchased this generator. The features are great. I really love the remote start since I can no longer use a pull cord to start a generator. I also like the fact it has a backup for fuel, especially in bad weather where I might not be able to get to a gas station to get gas, I have an option for propane. It is a really sturdy piece of machinery and I'm hoping to get many years of usage from it. Thank you Westinghouse I am very pleased with my purchase.

Easy to setup and handle... perfect for my house

I bought this generator in August . I was able to pick it up with my truck, unbox it, and assemble, the wheels and feet, myself. Perfect size for when the power goes out. ( heat , water, and most household power needs)

I have owned this product for about one and half years. My personal experience is not good. My first failure was 5 months after purchase the unit stopped producing power then the remote start quit working then the starter went out then the pull start broke. That unit was replaced now the unit I has just failed the engine block broke a peice off by the oil fill tube.
