Best bang for the buck

I can’t give a full review except I put about 10 minutes of gas in it and plugged in a power tool to test it. It started right up using the electric start. The power tool didn’t show up on the volt meter. The display is a little cheesy. It also read 62 Hertz. with no load. Other than the volt/hour/hertz display being sub par, knowing some low priced generators offer an app. I’m quite happy. I wasn’t able to put it under a heavy load or run it for a long period of time. I do plan to use the 50 amp plug to supply my house during an outage. In conclusion the generator is a beauty. It was quieter than my 3500w generator and It appears to be very well built. I couldn’t find a generator to match it for this price. Please Westinghouse with all that beauty, I pray for reliability when the time comes. Don’t fail me. Reliability is key. Otherwise I just bought a beautiful piece of junk.

I purchased this 2 months ago, now all I need is a Hurricane to really test it out. Used to to power my pressure washer and it did the job.

Worth the wait

We live in California where we can’t rely on our power grid in both summer and winter. I’ve been waiting to purchase the 9500df since last summer but it had been out of stock every time I tried to purchase. I looked at other manufacturers but happy I waited. Works great and has enough power to power our whole house with a/c plus the 6 freezers.

Setup was straightforward. Need to get more oil as others have stated as supplied oil is at minimum. Battery was drained so had to start manually, took a number of pulls and had to adjust the choke. Looks great and ran nicely on propane. Getting my interlock set up soon and looking forward to having backup power!

Very simple to understand, hook up and operate. The wheels and handle make it easy to move. Push button on/off easy to see and use.

nice unit

Unit arrived in a timely manner. Assembly was pretty straightforward. Added the oil and hooked up the battery and propane and first start took about halfa second and it was purring. Haven't ran it on gasoline yet or during a major outage but 120 outlets work good. Unit is a little loud but i expected that for the size and open cage design. Remote start worked from about 75 yards away with obstructions.
