Works great for my whole house back up needs

I purchased the dual fuel Westinghouse 9500DF about a month ago. One of the features which prompted me to purchase this item was the ability to supply power from the onboard 50amp and 30amp sockets at the same time. My home has two electrical panels so this allows me to power my home in the event of power outages. I use a 30 and 50 amp Reliance sockets connected to the correct breakers in my electrical panels, and two interlock kits to prevent back feed to the grid in the event of an outage . Another great feature is the ability to use propane. I have two tanks with a change over switch which ensures I dont loose the ability to supply power to my house when one tank empties.

Great for Food Trucks

Easy to use for my daughter who bought for mobile coffee business. Easy to start automatically and has the capacity to power all equipment without having to unplug high wattage items. And dual fuel is awesome feature.

We purchased this a month ago for the random power outages in southern Texas. This portable generator will run what we need for power outages. We have not needed to use it yet but hope it will do the job when needed and last us awhile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Generator!

Purchased to use as a backup home generator. It works exceptionally well. The dual fuel capability provides excellent capability for any longer term outages. It was very easy to get up and running and provides plenty of power. The User Manual is very detailed, and at the same time, very easy to understand. I would recommend highly recommend this generator.

Now I have secure power in outages

In Texas the power grid is not always reliable. We sometimes have sudden blackouts that last for hours. In the 2021 Snowmeggedon we were without power for five days. My new Westinghouse generator provides me with secure power now. We're on a well and my biggest concern was to be without water during an extended outage. No more. Now I can count on my generator. The generator is easy and intuitive to operate. It has the output we need for the well and other home systems if needed. The controls are easy to understand. I love my new generator!

After reading reviews we decided on this one. Got it in and it’s starts up great. Haven’t have not used it yet. But love the 50 service plug.
