Impressed out of the box

The product arrived in good shape, no damage to the box. The product looked well made and professional when opened. We followed the assembly instructions which were not perfect but we were able to figure out that the large washers went between the frame and the wheels by following the picture instead of the written instructions. Followed the prestart instructions and generator started on first attempt and is operating as expected. We are running it for the break in period now. We have not had to use for an outage yet but have high expectations that this generator will provide the service we need.

Purchased the 9500DFc generator for winter time back up but had a non-weather related power outage that gave me an excuse to use it. Wow, I was beyond impressed when I fired this beast up. It will address all my power needs,

I have been looking for years for a generator. After speaking to a few folks who purchased a similar model with electric start, I decided to go with this brand. Haven’t used it yet but have seen it in use from a few others.

Bought this hoping to never have to use it and shortly after, I did. Was a lifesaver. All features are simple to use and couldn’t picture living without it just for the piece of mind.

I purchased this email after using my sister Westinghouse 6500 generator that we used for two different power outages. Since we have purchased this generator, we have not had to use it. When It was easy to put together but at the end of putting it together, I missed the item about putting the quick connect on the battery. Then tried to start it at a different time and it would not start so I was checking trouble shooting items and did not see this noted. I finally called the 855 # and got a case #. I reread the operation & maintenance again and did not find anything that I was doing wrong. Then I went back through the assembly portion of the user manual and notice the last item was to put the quick connect together on the battery. After doing that the unit started right up. Now we are all set for the next power outage.
