I really Can't believe that I waited this long to make this purchase! The area in which i live in has frequent power outages and most lasting hours if not days! We are fortunate to be in a suburb country city of Montreal where we have an abundance of trees. We love this but it comes at a price when it gets windy or we get hit by ice storms! This unit is quite a bit more expensive than other brands but I have only heard great reviews and so far I am extremely happy with my purchase. Can't wait for the power to go out now!

Have only had this new generator for 2 weeks but it has performed flawlessly. Easy to assemble. The remote control is a great feature for the wife when I am travelling.
Very happy that I decided to buy this Westinghouse.

I just purchased this generator and I am very happy with the unit. The setup was easy and the generator started and ran with no issues. The features on the control panel and the quick start instructions are easy to understand.

ALL THE FEATURES I WAS LOOKING FOR/ EASY ASSEMBLY

RECEIVED TWO WEEKS AGO. UNPACKING/READING QUICK START AND ASSEMBLY TOOK ABOUT 1 HOUR. FILLED WITH OIL (INCLUDED). ADDED PREMIUM GAS. CONNECTED PROPANE TANK. CHARGED BATTERY WITH UNIT THAT IS INCLUDED. TURNED FUEL VALVE ON. STARTED ON FIRST CRANK WITH GAS. SELECTED PROPANE. TOOK SEVERAL CRANKS WITH PROPANE. RAN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR. BOUGHT L-SHAPED ELBOW FIXTURE FOR PROPANE CONNECTION. ALL READY FOR BACKUP WHEN THE NEXT POWER OUTAGE OCCURS.

I picked up the generator, was easy to set up. Needed more oil than came with it by just a little. Started up fine with electric start and remote. Have not tried it on propane yet. We purchased this to run part of our house as we live in a rural area that looses power in winter at times. So far very happy.
