Easy to use!

Great user friendly generator. Right from the box I had no trouble putting on wheels and knowing where oil goes and how everything works. It’s heavy but the wheels that come with it are enough to push it around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Safety flaw

This generator comes with a remote control and that doesn’t make sense. You can’t start or stop the engine unless you physically attach or detach the electrical connection according to the operations manual. Also if running on propane you have to manually turn off the propane gas valve to stop flow. If you simply press start or stop on the remote without making the physical changes you run the risk of damaging the generator and in the case of propane you run the risk of creating a substantial gas leak. I ask Westinghouse what does the remote accomplish?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Acheter en prévision des panne de courant de plus en plus fréquente et 2 semaines après mon achat, nous en avons eu une. J'étais bien content d'avoir ma nouvelle génératrice. J'ai branché le tout et je pouvais continuer de travailler de la maison.

Good overall design

I bought this generator about 2 months ago in preparation for the winter months. The overall setup was fairly easy. It is a somewhat heavy piece of machinery, so keep that in mind. I have not had the chance to use it, but it does seem to be sturdy and decently built.

We haven’t had to use the generator in an emergency situation yet.. But I’m confident it will power the house when the need arises. Only ran it on propane so far. I look forward to many many years with this generator as a reliable whole home emergency power back up

Awesome Generator k

I bought this last month, just in time for the hurricane season in FL. It took a couple weeks to arrive. The unit looks nice, is sturdy built and I love that I can use either gas or propane. I’m not as worried now about losing power as this unit gives me peace of mind.
