Purchased to replace a smaller but still great generator. This unit will run almost our entire home with ease and was recommended by our electrician. We hope we don't have to use this but if we do it will be ready!!

Generator went together easily. Quick start guide was helpful. Battery was not charged, had to pull start for first use. Now to put it to work!

Best generator for emergency home support

Just bought this dual fuel generator to pair with a new home transfer switch. It has all the bells and whistles to make the Westinghouse 9500DFc the perfect choice. The 120/240 L14-30 outlet should adequately power my deep well 240 pump. Generator includes a built-in battery charger and a remote electric start switch.

I had been considering a home backup generator for several years. Looking over the list of compatable generators from my electric company, I was happy to see that Westinghouse was on the list. So I ordered the WGen9500DF and I'm very happy with it. When unpacking it, all of the parts were there, The instructions were simple and complete, the proper oil (with a funnel !) was included. There was also an exploded view of a replacement parts sheet. I can't tell you how many times I've delt with other products from companies who were not as complete and thorough. Thank you Westinghouse for making an excelent product and caring about your customers.
