So far so good

I just received this generator yesterday, and have not actually tried to start it up/use it yet - I will update this review when I have had a chance to evaluate how it is working.
Arrived with some oil having soaked thru the bottom of the box, and oil was coating the support frame under the battery, but I could not see or fell any oil leaking from the oil tank or anywhere else, so not sure where it came from or whether significant or not. On initial inspection, the generator appears all in good shape, with no parts or accessories missing. The wheels and frame supports were easily installed. I intend to fire it up in the next day or so. Have to wait for 6 weeks or so before I can hook it up to the house (the soonest we can get an electrician to install a plug-in/transfer switch to the side of the house.

Great machine

I purchase this Gen as a house backup to run my well and a few other items during power outages. This summer has been full of storms and each time we lose power. Box it was shipped in could have been stronger, gen in heavy and it seem like its just a standard box which was all broken up. Machine was fine

I bought this a month ago and it took me a little while to get around to starting it for the first time. Had a little trouble, but worked it out (make sure the 'auto' choke engages, it might need a little help). Lots of power and less noise than my previous generator.

Perfect for my needs

I wanted a portable that could run my whole house, even the AC if need be. While this unit can't run everything simultaneously, it can run everything I need it too, even my HVAC if I have my other heavy hitting circuits on standby. It arrived just in time for winter, and I no longer worry about prolonged power outages, especially since we have a well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First attempt to start, carb leaking fuel

Everything looks great, excited to use this generator. But something isn't right with the carb, it is leaking a lot of fuel. Haven't had time to investigate further. If i needed it to run right now it would have to be from propane.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as a backup generator for my house and when I work out in the middle of no where. Great machine! Remote start and the propane option are always plus! Haven't found anything it can't run yet!
