Upgraded to Westinghouse from Honda

We live in a rural area and lose power a few times a year. For years we've had an on and off relationship starting a Honda EG5000 to cover outages from a few hours to a few days. We needed something my wife could operate when I am away from the house and decided on a Westinghouse 9500 dual fuel. We should have done this years ago! It arrived undamaged and was easy to setup. We had it up and running on propane in 30 minutes. The pushbutton start is great! The dual fuel option lets you use gasoline or propane (without the shelf life concerns). When you compare the options for this generator and the minor setup needed to run it against the insane cost and time to install a box store auto-cutover generator it is an easy decision to buy a Westinghouse! Image assembled is included. My only suggestion is offering a cart that mounted the generator and 40 to 100 lb propane tank.

Really like the Propane option so don't have to worry about fuel clogging the carbeurator over time between uses for power outage.

Went without power last winter for 5 days...
Needed a bigger generator to run house and furnace...

I ordered on Nov 28 2022 and received Dec 15. Delivery was excellent and set-up was very easy.

I bought this generator 4 months ago. Lately I have Hard time starting the generator. I did oil change and clean the gas filter it's still having issue after I used a few more times. It's not worth the money spent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
