Just got this generator and assembly was quick and easy. It started on its first attempt with no problems. Little loud when close to the generator but not bad when inside the house. Time will tell but so far im giving it 5 stars.
I do wish they would provide a laminated or plastic instructions that could be attached to the generator for easy access, mostly for individuals that aren’t familiar with generators.

Best Portable Whole House Generator

living in hurricane country, having a reliable standby generator is more of a necessity than a luxury. I first became aware of Westinghouse Generators when my neighbor purchased a WGen9500DF a year ago. His home which is similar to mine with about 2800 sq-ft of heated space. He had an electrician install a 50-amp connection and lockout in his main electrical panel. Through a couple of power outages his house was running like normal while I struggled with a smaller generator. I finally had enough and purchased a Wen9500DF for my home and could not be more pleased. It is a well-built and easy to set-up and use. The propone option is fantastic. It runs everything without a hitch.

Dual fuel is wonderful

I bought this generator a week ago. Instructions to assemble were clear and direct and all parts required were there. I had it up and running on propane in about an hour. Remote start worked as advertised and made it easy or an old guy like me to get it started. I have started the engine break in exercise recommended in the instruction manual and have had no issues. I'm actually looking forward to the next time we loose power to fully test it out.

Great whole house portable Generator for Power out

Fired right up out of the box on propane.....it would not start on gasoline at least initially. I ran on propane for an hour, and then switch to gas on the fly. It chugged a bit but then purred like a vicious kitten and ran fine after that. You will need a little extra 10W30 to fill to the appropriate level. It is heavy but easy enough to move around with the wheels and feet on it
