Great dual fuel generator could provide 50 Amps

I bought this generator because it is the same model owned by one of my friend. He had an excellent service liability during power outage.

Great if I didn't want to run it on gasoline...

Arrived this morning, looked good, read the manual, and did the easy assembly (wheels and feet). Followed the instructions step by step to prepare the generator for use with gasoline. This thing comes with a battery trickle charger which I thought was odd but went ahead and plugged it in. It wasn't necessary as battery already had a good charge. Hit the start button and the engine just turns over but no sign of start. I then hooked up the propane tank to the generator per instructions and it starts right up. Switch back to gasoline and it dies. After an hour or so of trying to figure out the problem, I decide to call the help number. On hold for a very, very long time and then finally, I'm talking to someone, not a tech who might be able to help me, but an answering service where the very nice guy takes all my information and submits a ticket for me and tells me someone should get back to me within 48 hours. I wish I hadn't bought this brand but it's here so let's see what happens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple set up and easy to operate!

Got everything ready and is running great have it powering my garage right now for the 5 hr break in period. So far I am impressed handle make it very easy to move around on the wheels and is remotely quiet for its size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this unit refurbished. After assembling the wheels and adding oil and gas it wouldn't start with the elec start button. A couple manual pulls on the cord got it running and the elect start has worked flawlessly ever since. Hasn't got much use yet, but solid unit so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!
