So easy my wife can do it

Had it out of the box and running in less than a hour love being able to run propane and gas especially when the hurricanes come through

No Power.

Bought 2 of these generators (New) on line. Both start and run great but neither will generate any power at the receptacles. I was informed that both had probably been sitting in a warehouse for while and the AVR (automatic voltage regulator) had lost it's magnetism. I went online to the Westinghouse parts department to order them, Only to find out that the AVR's I need are sold out. (I wonder why?) P.S. I'm not even sure if this is the problem yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Generator, great features for the value!

After being in so many power outage due storms ( Derecho) my husband decided to get this unit.
Out the box is easy to put together and use the remote start is a charm.
We try to run the air conditioner and some appliances fridge and worked fine
Now we are looking to put an inlet box so we can connect to the panel so we dont have cord running through windows or doors.
Overall is a great investment

Absolutely A Great Generator

I spent hours researching generators, and looking at comments from prior purchases, and when I found this Westinghouse it simply exceeded all the other generators I was looking at from the standpoint of function, power, ease of use, dual fuel, and they added a fob for starting remotely. Westinghouse is a name brand that I trust and have trusted over the last fifty years. Service and support is readily available locally if needed. I followed the simple directions step by step, and when I was ready to start, the generator started the forth time. It takes a little time for the first time you start this to allow fuel and oil to get to their levels. Another nice feature is that when you push the start button, if it doesn't start the first time, it will pause and automatically try starting again. What a great feature!

I received and ran it yesterday with a decent load without issue. I switched between fuel types without problems. The covers on the ports and outlets are adequate, but I just hope they hold up over the years, as they appear to be somewhat cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this generator just so I can be prepared in the event of an emergency. The unit fired right up after unpacking and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is. Also really like the duel fuel option, so much easier to store propane. This unit will easily handle my fridge, freezer and water pump in the event of a power outage. Glad I chose Westinghouse, awesome piece of equipment.
