Love duel fuel

Quit running after 10 min

I just purchased this generator and did all rechecks and ran unit for about 10 min on propane and was good. Then needed it last night so I hooked it up and it ran power to my items for about 5-8 min and then it died. Tried restarting and it backfired several time and that was it. Would not run. Ended up putting a little gas I had, no more available at night and it finally ran but would not run at all on propane so I was stuck with no power. Call CS and all they will do is send me a new regulator to see if it fixes it but it will take about a week. Wow what a joke and the store I bought it from said they can’t help per policy. This company should be able to call the store and have them supply the part as they sell that part but the manufacturer said they won’t do that. What a joke. I knew I shouldn’t have bought a Westinghouse item and never will again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally needed it!

Yes I know this may be a little late, but...I purchased this generator in 11/2023. Did not even start it up once I brought it home. Then a year later and Helene hit the area I live in. Unboxed it, filled up the oil, charged the battery, put gas in, and she fired right up. She ran for nine days straight and I also had to switch it over to propane for a period also. It was a lifesaver indeed. I have all the confidence in Westinghouse craftsmanship and quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great so far!

Easy to assemble right out of the box. Fired right up and runs good. Nice heavy duty frame and electronic features. Comes with trickle charger for long term storage and instructions on how to prep for long term storage. Hooked it up to the house for a test run and ran flawlessly. I have gas heat but it ran all the normal load with no problem. Haven’t tried it with AC unit yet but I’m sure if you are diligent with what you are supplying the power to it will handle the load. Struggled to start on gas at 20 degrees F but fired right up when using propane. Overall good looking generator and noise level is to be expected for a 2 stroke engine. At this time I am very pleased with my purchase.

We bought this after a bad ice storm came through. It was easy to assemble. We only had to put the wheels on. We hooked it up to propane. It started right up. It came with everything that it showed. Very pleased with it.
