Everything you would expect and more

I am glad I bought this generator. It is well built. The push start is a breeze. No more manually cracking a generator to start it. It can also be wired directly into the house. I haven't come across anything yet that seems flimsy or made of cheap materials, except for the fuel type selection button. I wish it was more tactile/heavy. I love the battery charger option. Now I never have to worry about the battery dying on me.

Things that need to be improved:
* Shipping times
* Westinghouse barely gave me enough oil to fill the engine to just about the low oil level mark. I know they drain it before shipping it but I barely had enough oil to test start it.
* The manual did not specify the oil capacity of the engine.

Only time will tell if this or any generator is worth it; but as of right now; I love it.

Just What I was Hoping For

Once home, putting on the wheels and supports was a breeze. I did have to ask why the battery was dead and not charging. Support came back very fast and let me know what I had to do to connect the battery-quick connect as they has a small change in packing. Other than adding fuel and oil, no other assembly was required. Started right up. Hooked it up and put in under load with gas then propane. Love the battery start. Tested the remote from upstairs and across the house - works great and powers everything I wanted in my 3-story house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nicely packed and easy to assemble

I bought this item from a national home improvement retailer online at the end of June. It was shipped via a 3rd party shipping company and arrived about a week later. The generator was protected via cardboard and styrofoam packing, and did not show any signs of damage in shipping. Everything was included in the box, including a wheel set. The wheels and mounting feet were easy to install by just myself. All you have to do is tip it on one side to install both the mounting feet and one of the wheels. Then you tip it over on the other side to install the other wheel. Once I had the wheels on, it was very easy to move by myself. I have an electrician coming over soon to install a manual transfer switch. Once that’s installed, I will test the generator and follow up with a review as to its performance. I will use this generator for emergency power loss.

I bought this generator for hurricanes in south Florida and let me tell you I am glad I did! It was so easy to set up and the remote start saves me a trip in the rain

Security and Peace of Mind

Given what 2020 has thrown at us already we wanted to be prepared for hurricane season here in FL. Nice to know we have a back up if we lose power.
