I just bought this product I love the extended warranty of 3 years the propane and gas with the push button start and also remote control to turn on and shut off I checked the products with other companies and this one was rated the best Thank you Westinghouse

I will preface this review with the fact that it has not been through the paces of an after hurricane power outage. My 5 star review reflects the quality of materials, the initial setup and properly written instructions. If you're in a hurricane prone area, this is a necessary investment, and this model, so far has been excellent. I did plug in multiple devices, and there was no change in the generator's performance. Hopefully I will not need to write a follow up, but if I do, then I will come back and report how things went. Next step is to hire an electrician to install a transfer switch.

WGen9500DF - perfect for us!

I wanted a generator that can run our home A/C and other essentials during a power outage. The WGen9500DF right out of the box started right up by using the remote. It had to crank a few seconds until fuel primed - then started up fast. I tried a few starts no issue, instant on. We bought the ST Switch with Smart Portable Automatic Transfer Technology and hooked it up for a test. Simulated a power outage and as advertised the generator immediately kicked on by itself and provided emergency power. We simulated a power restore and it transferred power power back to the utility. Buy this if it is large enough (check your needs). Excellent product! I can't tell you about reliability over the long term as it is new for us but it works well. We will get a soft start for our A/C to help things along.... I am a design in a nuclear powerplant and this back up generator is a slick home back up system that is affordable. The dual fuel option is also a nice feature.

Just what I needed!

I bought this on a recommendation from a trusted friend. He has used his several times for weather related power outages. I wanted assurance that we would have power should the need arise. Hope I don’t need to use it.

I purchased this for the hurricane season, it was easy to assemble, and started right up. The dual fuel feature is very handy to maximize run runtime depending on fuel availability during a power outage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks like it will do the job for me. I have yet to put it through the 7 hour startup test oh, but the remote control functions properly the time of delivery

Purchased this to run our Rivah house when the power is out and to power our boat lift on the dock.
Started on the first try. Plenty of power.
