Bad switch on my generator keeping it from operating properly, but the customer service was helpful for figuring out the issue.

Has not failed in 2 years

Our son-in-law purchased this gen 2 years ago after moving from CA to AL, knowing he would certainly need one. So, our 13 year old Hobart gen went out of service this month, so we purchased the Westinghouse Duel Fuel. We put oil in it, used the propane tank, and it started right up. After all, this is a well known brand for many years. It was not loud and easy to put together.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had a storm a few months ago where we were so thankful that we had this generator. It was easy to use and supplied us with enough power for our lights and refrigerator. So thankful we made this purchase!

It doesn't get any better than plug & play! Out of the box, connect the fuel supply and push start. I am glad I made this purchase!

So far, so great

Bought this after Hurricane Irma when we lost power for 5 days and will get it hooked up to the main breaker via an interlock system - the 50 amp outlet is ideal for this. I've only just run it to make sure everything is working ok and so far it's excellent. Noise level is much much lower than I expected - about the same as a gas powered lawn mower. The electric start button worked from the first time and the remote control power fob worked great. Very easy to assemble the legs/wheels, they include everything you need and the instruction manual is very clear and easy to understand. No problems so far, highly recommend for the power to cost ratio and the features. Option to run on propane is great so you don't have to keep it stored with gasoline, very convenient.

Just got it

Haven't used it yet. Manufactured 11 months ago. Wouldn't start. Had to spray started fluid into air box to get it to start on gas. Keep your Westinghouse cover, too many hoops to jump through. I thought this was just a registration process.

Great features

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter so she has not used it yet. But it is a very nice generator with all the features we were looking for. It looks to be of excellent quality and it’s actually much nicer than even the pictures showed. We are giving it to her tomorrow as an early present so we will be trying it out tomorrow. We’re very excited about it.
