Good design but trouble getting it started

Just received it today, super excited to get this thing up and running but have yet to be successful on getting it started. I've read over the manual and everything appears to be correct on my end. I will say the design Is is very clean and robust looks to be a pretty solid unit. But It does me no good If I can't get started, hopefully it's not dead on arrival

Cold Weather

The unit would not start a 18 degrees farenheit on gasoline the first time. I hooked up the propane tank and she fired right up.
It would not be easy to undo the carb filter to spray starter fluid to start on gas.
More instructions on cold temperature start would be helpful.

Have the unit up and running now. Setup was reasonably simply. Battery came fully charged. Instructions were good, although I would mention that even though you use the battery to start, you might need to manually set the choke to 'Cold Start' mode. So far I have been impressed. It seems like a true workhorse.

Remote start is very convenient

I purchased this generator after comparing many different brands and the features they offered. The remote start is a plus and works great starting the generator at a distance when you don't have the lighting to get to it manually. I love this generator and I am very pleased with the quality of this machine..
