FULL OF AWESOME FEATURES

I purchased this almost 1 year ago. I just recently needed to use it, and at that moment I realized how happy I am to have it! I did my homework before purchasing. In my opinion, it's perfect! I have it set up to plug into my house for power outages. I'm told that I have more of a generator than I need, but I say, how could that be possible... The unit arrived in excellent condition. I only needed to add oil and fuel. Westinghouse provides everything you need except for the fuel. The remote starter is a thoughtful option that works well. I particularly appreciate the fuel shut off valve. This feature is very important to have on small engines. I trust Westinghouse as a company, which is one of several reasons that I made this purchase. I still feel confident that I made the right decision.

Great product

I recently bought this product to upgrade over 20 year old Generac portable generator. So far I am very impressed with the push button start option and the ability to use propane as well. I did have to call customer service, and they responded to my question in a very quick manner. I will be hiring a electrician to install a manual transfer switch on my house electrical panel, but for now it is working great using extension cords.

Exactly what we needed

Needed something sufficient to run our furnace and other key appliances. This not only fit the bill, but great features like push button start and dual fuel flexibility is very helpful when bad weather hits.

I bought this after the Texas winter storm of February 2022. I love that’s it dual fuel. Super easy to start. Remote start is an added bonus. I can start this from the house. Impressed with the quality of the product.

The generator is a dream as it starts with the push of a button or using the included fob remote. It also can power multiple items, and though heavy (210 pounds or so), it is easily wheeled.

Powerful for a backup generator

I chose this generator to take advantage of the 50 amp capability since I have to supply power to a well pump during power outages. I went back and forth with the WGen7500DF due to overall fuel consumption, but it came down to wanting the 50 amp NEMA14-50R receptacle. I have not had a chance to run it in a real backup scenario yet, but I believe I will be prepared. I love all of the features that are included, like the electric and remote start and the 4 power ports. Assembly was very easy, and I used their supplied oil as break in. I would have given it an excellent review, but I have not had a chance to run it long term. In addition, one of the nuts for one leg seemed to be "over welded" so I could not get the bolt to engage. I used a temporary tie wrap and will have to run a thread tool through it to clean it up when I get the time. All in all, so far, so good.
