So far it's proved to be a good generator

I bought this ready for winter so I've only used it a couple times for testing purposes but so it's worked as expected. It takes a bit to get it started the first time and it's best to do that on gas rather than propane but once I get it started the first time it started easily after that. The remote start/stop is nice but since I need to pull it out of the garage and hook it up I probably won't need to us it that much. I bought this because it got good ratings, the wattage will power my whole house, the price is pretty good, my local small engine shop said they could repair the engine if needed and the fact it' so fuel efficient. It's not a quite generator but for the size it's about what I'd expect and I'm only using it for power outages during winter. Hopefully it will continue to run nicely when I really need it.

Did a lot of research before I made my purchase and so happy we went with a Westinghouse generator. The one we got is dual fuel, starts with a push button and tells us the fuel levels. We will definitely be prepared the next time Austin has another snow storm and we lose electricity. Can’t wait to use it!

Perfect for what I need

I just bought this generator because I didn't want to borrow a family members generator any longer and have only used it once, only to try it out. Assembly was easy. Fired up quickly on propane. Tested it by simulating a power outage. Hooked up to the 50amp outlet to the 50amp house inlet. I was able to run several lights in various rooms, TV, furnace, well pump, 2 refrigerators and a deep freezer at the same time. When the 240v well pump kicked on the generator barley bogged then ran smoothly with everything else running.

Can't beat the price for the quality you get

This is a great generator. It's got the same features as the generic generators that cost more and it's a name I have heard of. Everyone has heard of Westinghouse. They could definitely charge more for this generator, but I'm glad I got at at the price point I did. A real bargain.
