Review of delivery, set up, and initial starting.

The generator was ordered on Dec 7 with a guaranteed delivery of Dec 21, it was delivered on Dec 18.....AWESOME!!! Upon inspecting the box, I was surprised to learn that the only tool I needed was a boxcutter. When I opened the box and Inspected the contents, I learned that I would need a wrench to install the two legs. The wrench needed was part of the contents and it is an actual wrench that I will keep in my tool box, it is not one of those junk stamped pieces of sheet metal that you normally get. The assembly is simple and the instruction sheet is easy to follow and does not leave out any necessary details. There is a funnel supplied that I really appreciate; it makes the oil installation virtually drip free. Initial start up did not go as smoothly as unpacking and assembly. The generator would not start on either push button or remote start. It would go through the starting process but would not start. When I did a manual start (it started with one pull) I learned that the breather hose was blocking the full travel of the choke lever. I adjusted the position of the hose to allow full travel and the auto start function cranked the generator as designed. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great Features / Reputable Company

The WGen9500 DF satisfies all my requirements for a home back-up generator. After months of research, I purchased this one because it came with all the options and power necessary to run our entire house during a power grid outage, plus- there are so many excellent reviews for Westinghouse products on the internet (and so few negative ones). Having the dual fuel capability is a big plus with this generator. Haven't had to use it yet but I'm confident that if Texas has another winter like 2021, we will be much more comfortable with this power plant.

I bought this as a backup generator for my house and when I work out in the middle of no where. Great machine! Remote start and the propane option are always plus! Haven't found anything it can't run yet!

First attempt to start, carb leaking fuel

Everything looks great, excited to use this generator. But something isn't right with the carb, it is leaking a lot of fuel. Haven't had time to investigate further. If i needed it to run right now it would have to be from propane.
