Got this just in case we need this for our fridge/freezer and a/c unit need power. also love that it can take both gas or propane.

Purchased this generator for whole home power outage situations and misc power requirements. It's a great brand with a very long history of making great products. This generator should last a very long time.

How good it is

I must say this product has exceeded my expectations. It's more than capable of running my whole house and having power left over. The generator came fully assembled other than needing oil put in it and the battery needs to be plugged in. it's basically ready to go. I applaud GE on this generator

Quiet and powerful!

Didn't have power loss yet, but had to test it anyways ;o) More than enough power to cover all our needs if we do lose power though. Lights didn't flicker when the water pump or furnace would fire up. Much quieter than I expected it to be.
