I bought this generator after shopping around for weeks. I needed a generator for backup power on our ranch. If power goes down animals lives depend on it. I also needed a alternative power source for working in the fields. I love that this generator can handle a full 50 amps. That gives me alot of options.
The assembly was very simple and quick. After last year's freeze. Having this generator has put my wife at ease. I wired in a plug to our breaker panel so we can easily plug it in and feed anything we need.

Just unpacked, very surprised how easy the wheels and support brackets attached. The accessories were a nice surprise, Propane hose, battery charger and tools.

Great Build Quality

Everything is metal, the fuel tank, the control panels, and of course, the frame is all made out of metal.
I did extensive research on portable generators and found that the Westinghouse WGen9500DF offered the best value and power output. I wanted the Dual Fuel option because it's easier to store propane long-term rather than gasoline. It provides me options for using this generator mainly when the power goes out. I don't have to worry about keeping my fuel fresh.
Aside from the obvious high power capacity of the generator, little touches like having enough clearance to slide an oil pan under the drain plug are huge. Plus, the handle is permanently attached and not an afterthought. It pivots up for easy maneuvering and folds down for storage when not in use.
This generator has ample power to run my entire house at less than 50% capacity. That was one of the main selling points was the $'s / generated watt was superior to the others I looked at.
I would recommend this to a friend!
