Tons of power!

Runs great on gas and propane, supplying my whole house with power in the event of an outage. Taking off a star for the noise level - around 90db.

Excellent bang for the buck!

What a sweet deal! This generator will do the job with little to no fuss. After following the assembly and setup instructions, it started on the first attempt and hasn't missed a beat since. With a big tank and a long run time, we're now more prepared for a power outage. It's easy to use and light enough to move easily. If you have responsible kids, even they can do it. You can tell it's well made and assembled with care. Don't see any reason why it won't last for a long time.

Instructions for setup and owners manual are very clear, setup was a breeze. After everything was hooked up, it started right up with no issues. Has everything I need with the 240v as well as 120v outlets. I couldn't be happier with this product!

Great investment

I haven't had a chance to use the generator yet other than starting it up and testing it out, it ran great. I have wired it into my house and it ran all of my indoor appliances, hot water heater, lights and outlets without missing a beat (not including central A\C or heat).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not enough oil provided

On the plus side, the generator started first attempt with the electric start. I expected the battery would be dead and require a pull start. The down side was that I decided to upgrade to 05W-30 oil for cold temps. I bought one quart which is what was provided and it was not enough to fill the generator. So, I had to go back to the store again to buy more oil... What a pain. If the generator continues to work well or I hear from Westinghouse regarding the oil volume I will consider upgrading my rating.

The WGen9500DF has all th Features I need and more

I bought this generator two weeks ago to protect our house and family from power outages which are common in the Pacific NW. It has enough power to handle all the electric appliances, heat and hot water we need. The Transfer Switch allows complete access to all the house wiring in the place of extension cords. I love it.
