A heck of a lot to like

I am a retired government predator control specialist and camped most of my career and owned several generators. This beats everyone by a landslide. Assembly was incredibly easy, remote start is awesome, very quiet especially with propane, starts fast and easily, good stout tires, easy lift handle, cosmetics are very pleasing to the eye, well balanced and study, panel is easy to access and clear, rubber covers to protect outlets from the weather, easy access to battery, even a really nice funnel is included with a pivoting spout, wow that is so nice for putting oil in, a charger is included to charge the battery with the generator, 6.5 gallon gas tank.
I am so very impressed with this generator, it's awesome. I'm prepared if tshtf for sure. I can run my entire 4000 square feet house and my well.

Great, well built generator!

I purchased this generator a few weeks ago. Received and it was well packaged with everything needed to get started. Started right up using propane, as that's how I'm primarily going to run it. This will definitely run everything needed in my home during a power failure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great feature with remote start

Bought it for last hurricane season and hope I never have to use it.
Filled the crank case with supplied amount of oil. As of yet to start unit.
Depending on Westinghouse name to start when needed, hopefully never.!

Outstanding portable generator set

We purchased this model generator to use as a stand by power source for our home. It runs everything in our home with ease.
We have gas appliances. The 9500 DF runs furnace, lights, freezers and refrigerators along with bathroom and ceiling fans.
The only thing that makes it flinch is the central air but the AC is not a priority to us.
Westinghouse was not even on my radar for a portable generator until I researched deeper. Westinghouse has good reviews, longevity, and competitive prices.
The generator runs very well and we are at 5600 feet elevation. The way I understand it, at 3.5% derate per 1000 feet of elevation above sea level the 9500 Watt rated generator is producing an actual Watt rating around 7638 Watts.
Even at less than optimal output we can run our home on gas or propane.
