Just in the nick of time!

Map Canada staff were so helpful and provided amazing support in our decision to purchase a Westinghouse WGN 7500 dual fuel generator. Took delivery of it a mere week before a once in a century storm knocked out our power for 72+ hours. Maps recommendation to run it on propane was fantastic and provided streamlined easy to use and clean running of the system. Assembly was minimal and start up was push button (remember to flip the breaker on the front). I haven’t yet hooked it into my home panel but it ran easily with a few heavy duty extension cords. Powered fridge, freezer, aquarium and charged phones for 3 days running on 4 hour intervals. Very pleased with my purchase. It certainly saved the holidays.

Awesome Generator

I love this generator! It has wheels and a handle for great mobility. It also has remote electric start plus itrunson propane or gas with plenty of power!

Unexpected Gift

I was given this generator for Christmas, by my wife. It replaces a brand "G" pull start gasoline only generator. Wow, great gift! Old generator was hard to start, needed to constantly have carb. cleaned after each infrequent use or it wouldn't start. My new WGEN7500DF allows me to use propane, and never have to worry about the fuel going stale and to start with the press of a button. Really easy set-up, required a second person to help with the simple assembly only because of the weight of the generator.

Easy to assemble, easy to break, won't start

The assembly was easy enough to apply the wheels and add oil. When moving the rig down a short stoop, the weld popped off on one of the wheel mounts (seemed to be tackwelded minimally). After fully charging the battery, I was never able to start the engine, even once. Currently working with customer support on what can be done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

STILL TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT

LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD BE A GREAT GENERATOR, INSTALLATION WAS WAS EASY. STARTED RIGHT UP AND RAN GREAT - HOWEVER ONCE IT TURNED COOL,
12 DEGREES F, IT WILL NOT START. HAD TO TRAP IT AND PUT IN A HEATER TO WARM IT UP. NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO DO WHEN YOU NEED A GENERATOR AFTER THE POWER HAS FAILED!
